Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay

Rich, ripe, but not too ripe. Nice vanillin oak framing. Delicious!

This wine may be just past it’s prime. No nose remains after 28 years, it has has an acidic brightness and the back of the mouth feel is earthy. Drinkable and had potential.
