38 years and the nose is still intact. A wonderful, crisp, citrus lingers from the glass. A fantastic finish. — 2 years ago
This is a beautifully dark wine with a smooth opening that is slightly thin for a 2016 Bordeaux with a rapidly dissipating forward tannin that closes with a fruity flavor mellowness as it closes. It is drinkable today and benefits from some time in the open before diving in. — 5 years ago
This wine is earthy an dark and has none of the sharpness of the newer vintages. It has mellowed into a smooth and beautiful drink. — 2 years ago
Opened a bottle of 1992 to be delighted by a straw colored wine with a lovely, yet flattened nose. A thicker mouth feel with apricot overtones and a lovely mild buttery finish. For a white of this caliber to have survived 30 years is a testimony to the winemaker. — 2 years ago
This wine may be just past it’s prime. No nose remains after 28 years, it has has an acidic brightness and the back of the mouth feel is earthy. Drinkable and had potential. — 2 years ago
Easy blend of nicely balanced fruit with a spicy finish. It is a price performer. — 4 years ago
This lovely 2016 blend from the region has a regal, purple darkness right out of the bottle. The nose is lovely fruit that enters with sharp tannins and a hint of current that should mellow with time. The finish is short but pleasant. Easily drinkable today, but will be better as it ages. I would buy this again. — 5 years ago
