A little bit of reduction on the nose and on the finish. On the nose spicy floral typical northern Rhône Syrah aromas plus a rubber or latex touch. On the palate a little hollow on the mid palate but in a way more quaffable and smoother that way. Medium tannins and a medium+ finish with a dried roses and light geranium touch. Very good quality. #crozeshermitage

This wine has a medium-dark ruby color in the glass. The nose is what I always look forward to in a Syrah. The big cassis note, the faint earth note, the slight herbal note. The combination of mint, eucalyptus, dirt, and funk provides the perfect backdrop to that dark purple juice. The palate is as big and bold as one might expect, maybe bigger and bolder. Dark fruit flavors are buried in a savory mound of earth and herb. The tannins are firm. I’m going to make a rib eye steak before this bottle becomes empty.

This is not Sauv blanc. Rhone white blend. This is the wine of the year for me right now. Aged perfectly. Heady honey, sunflowers, birch, beeswax, lilies- fresh in fruit- inter-grated bright acidity, yet with lots of tertiary depth. Long finish. Drink now. Good for the next 3-4.

Delicious, but needs time in bottle, or 3+ hours of air. This all-Syrah wine was better the longer we waited.

Delicious, elegant. At once rich and fresh with a food friendly acidity and distinct minerality. Delicious with the finest Waitrose sausages cooked by my lovely sisters.

Really big & full bodied for a C-H. But it is quite good.

Vintage 2006, nice expressive nose with some violets, cherries and plums. Elegant taste but a lot of underlying power. Aftertaste is velvety, ten years at age this is is certainly à Point!
