Simple straight and delicious bistro wine. It was great alone, could have used a steak frites from Le Express.

QPR winner from M. Chapoutier #languedocroussillon AOP. This is a great mid-week casual wine and opens up nicely stored in the wine fridge after uncorking. Dark fruit preserves, dried herbs, garrigue and subtle toasted wood on nose. Despite hot 15% ABV palate is notably balanced, moderate acidity mid-palate, dark chocolate on the finish with gentle tannins. Solid value coming in under $12 at Costco.
