Tawny color. Not quite opaque. Fragrant, masculine nose. Notes of flowers, red currant, tin metal, dry earth and a hint of menthol. Big and round in the mouth with softened tannins. However the fruit is consistently tight and the finish a bit dry. Sampled over 5 hour; don’t know where this wine goes from here. I’ll be finishing these off sooner rather than later.
