First case came as white. This was red. I still liked it v much. But it was a surprise to me and my guest. Hahaha

A nose that required much coaxing but eventually provides some dark fruit and soil . An interesting palate of dark fruit that tasted somewhat mature combined with a slow yielding youthful structure.
Definitely not in the pleasure stage and not sure if it will get there. One to cellar and follow.🤞

A little tired but showing normal signs of oxidation and development. #louisjadot #chardonnay #cotedebeaun #ctbucklinwine

A bit closed at this stage. Tart red cherry. Alcohol pokes out a bit. Has potential in a few years.

Fruit forward. Red berries, spice and damp earth. M acid, body and tannin. Chocolate and espresso. A rustic wine. Everyday good value wine.

Bit stemmy and hard around the edges, but the core is tart and crunchy red fruit. Nice but not quite what was hoped for.

Clos de la Croix de Pierre blanc. One of the most underrated vineyards, this is Burgundy!
