Better than no Burgundy at all, with quite nice bloody beet aromatics, but alas a little heavy and facile. Morsel's look says it all.

They make this one from grapes from all the vineyards you see on the label. It needs some more time but I was curious about it and have enough other bottles. The fruits are slightly candied and floral on the nose. A light touch of funk, bright, ripe; strawberries, dark cherries, cherries, cranberries, pomegranate, soft, sweet baking spices, and bright red florals. The body is round and lush. The fruits are a little darker on the palate. Poached strawberries, touch of blackberries, hues of blue fruits, dark cherries, cherries, cranberries, pomegranate, soft, sweet baking spices, Christmas cake, dark rich earth, soft, round limestone minerals, a little funk on the palate as well, fresh red florals, juicy acidity and a round fruit driven finish with crumbled minerals on the long palate set. I'd say better things ahead for this wine with five more years in bottle.

From magnum. Fruit a little tired, but still pretty. Dried flowers, mushroom, licorice, subtle raspberry, orange rind, hint of tobacco, sour cherry, soft tannins and nice acid. Opened up a bit more by day two.

Very good Pinot from 2012, should have bought more of these! Fairly tannic, med bodied, cherries, slight reduction
