Masterful, per usual. Platt can be enigmatic at times, but with a little air this is ebullient, and transparent in every sense. A notably fragrant, lifted nose of sweet red fruit entwined with savory and floral complexity. The palate shows the same sweetness but also a cool elegance, a silky texture with integrated tannins, and barely perceptible oak; this is classy and light on its feet but not shy. Paired with a mushroom borscht which echoes the vinous, savory complexity of the wine, and walks the same line between delicacy and richness. A gorgeous wine which expresses balance not as a mission statement but as the simple result of gentle treatment from vineyard to bottle.

Nice subtle fruit. Amazingly delivers a huge expression of flavor, tannin and acid while remaining light on its feet.

Heading to an #oldworld style with some characteristics of good quality #burgundy Med + intensity on the nose with sweet red and black fruit. Great complexity on the nose as well as the palate with delicious spice and mineral notes. The structure was firm but refined and higher alcohol was felt. The length was good. #littorai #sonomacoast #pinotnoir #california #newworld #ctbucklinwine

Intense, smoky, earthy, and spicy, with raspberries and blackberries. Ageworthy, but drunk now.

Lovely concentration of Pinot fruits. Purchased at the Sonoma winery last year. Drank with homemade sourdough pizza.

Still too young to enjoy the development that lies ahead, but early imbibing still brings cherry cola, forest, and savory components and acidity to carry through maturation. Slightly on the heavier side against other elegant profound designations in the lineup

Just cuz. If the '14s are supposed to be explosive I can't wait because this was a treat.

Tasted at the winery. Organic and biodynamic. Single vineyard Pinot. Savoury, perfumed, balanced finish.
