Pinot for the people - Lioco democratizes Pinot like they do with Chardonnay. Taming difficult fussy grapes and selling the juice for cheap. Mendocino Pinot has pretty, almost gorgeous aromatics. Blatant fleshy cherries. Macerated strawberries, violets, and iodine. Far reaching scents. Everything's in balance when you'd expect something angular. The mouth is simpler - clean and green, a platter of fruit.

Sour cherry on the nose & palate. Flat, tart front that quickly becomes a beautiful smoked raspberry, leather, blueberry, currant, violet, & milk chocolate. Medium bodied with a medium acidity. Doesn’t linger on the palate. Light and easy to drink, yet complex enough to pique my interest.
