Got hit twice with the oak stick. That said, actually tastes like Pinot and is a crowd pleaser. Pretty good QPR at $16.

I don't love Pinot... but I loved this. Smokey, subtle. Nice surprise.

Little bit bigger style Pinot here. Not body wise, but surely aromatically, and the colors a bit darker. Dark fruits, spice, pepper, earth and med acidity. Definitely new world style.

$16 a Costco. Not bad for the price. Light cherry. Nice acid.

We had a regional blind wine tasting of Pinot Noir tonight. I was assigned California, but the trick was bottles could only be about $20 each. Thanks to a sale, I picked this up for $24 (totally new to me!) and it won!!! (It beat out Burgundy, Oregon, New Zealand and Chili!) Fuller bodied with an interesting thread of minerality going through. More earth than fruit, too.

Well done Pinot with fresh fruit on the nose and palate. Nice finish and at $30 a bottle it's a good deal.

most enjoyable Pinot Noir to-date. definitely notes of dark plum but this overwhelming flavor of something I can’t pinpoint. other reviewers get hints of lavender, hibiscus tea, or pomegranate notes. I do get slight peppery notes on the finish, very slight. love how it was medium bodied.
