Pale Lemon in colour. White peach notes on nose and palate along with herbal and Lime notes - a little grapefruit. Overall the impression of ripe grapes in a really good season gives one the impression of almost off dry but it is dry. Not as much tension as a few years ago - this being my last bottle. At its peak if you like mature Riesling with a swipe of cleansing acidity to finish off. Again, little or no kerosene or petrol notes which I am starting to believe is a wine fault and the subject of sunburnt grapes as Canberra Riesling producer Ken Helm once told me. 3 Trophies and many Gold Medals on the Show Circuit.

White Florals, Talc, Herbs, note of Kerosene. On the palate some white stone fruit, great structure with Medium minus acid. Finishes semi dry and soft. Excellent Clare Valley Riesling.

Famous #australian #riesling from the #clarevalley made by #accolade company #leasingham . From the hot season of #2003 though mot looking shabby; pale gold yes; spice and restraint not strong kero or honey; backward a little; evolving fruit; blessed by screwcap; 12.5%.

A much awarded Riesling on the Australian Show Circuit. Starting to develop more mature characters but still Limey chalky mineral notes. Pure as the driven snow with good acidity which will propel it for another 10 years plus.

Just hanging in there. Just.
Very sure no one dreamt of drinking this 16 years later when it was made.

This is the 2012. Highly awarded with 3 trophies and many gold medals. Lime aromas with minerality- and perfectly weighted acidity - talc nuances. Excellent wine with or without food with enough fruit on palate yet with a 10+ year future. 17.5+.

Outstanding mature Clare Valley riesling; Bin 7; razor sharp softened acidity of limes, lime-flavoured fruit; emerald-green colour just fab; 12.5%; AUD 110 (UK source); Hardys pointed out the screw cap which preserved it so well; then discontinued when Constellation lost its way; 2005 to 2008 not made; now re-made by Accolade; 2013 sells for less than the 2004; first made 1967.

Who says affordable wine can't age? This is absurdly good right now.

So well balanced, full on the palate, a little residual sugar, great value
