The 2019 Maggiorina is such an engaging wine. Dark and mysterious, with striking complexity, this Nebbiolo/Croatina-based field blend is an absolute winner. Wild black cherry, lavender, sage, menthol and dried herbs grace the Maggiorina with striking complexity and nuance. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2022)

Truncated notes because crazy dinner at my brother’s with 6 dogs and more humans and frantic attempts to remember to properly distance.

Loved this. Funky at first, then tons of earthy plummy fruit. Great with my brother’s homemade lasagna.

What an interesting wine. Mainly nebbiolo but dollops of craviatina add spice to the roses. I'm sometimes a bit skeptical of wines that are described as"natural" as the first descriptor but no need to be so here.

A pretty wine. Notes of glacier cherries. Good for the price.

This, only in my experience thus far, has been my all time favourite example of great winemaking in the reasonably priced 'natural' winemaking world. I love nebbiolo and this is the shit. So solid. Bright, deep, well integrated, no screwing around with this. These people know what they're doing. No tricks.

Another vinous argument for the power of field blends. This wine is so versatile with food, it pairs with anything. Over delivered on every level.
