More medium than I expected. The obvious notes we got were Mexican chocolate but with a peppery kick and a leather finish. Could use a few more years in the cellar.

Dry, medium-bodied red. Super balanced and versatile. Would overpower lighter fish flavors, but any chicken > pork > beef pairing would land with aplomb.
