La Stoppa
Triple A Trebbiolo Vino Rosso
beautifully made wine (no, duh, it’s La Stoppa). full soft luscious juice. not my thing personally, but off you are looking for a big wine that’s not overwhelming and heavy handed, you can’t go wrong here.

Not sure what I expected but it was much richer, fuller, and sweeter than I thought. The sweetness slowly wore off giving way to ripe cherries and rhubarb as it opened. Stood up well to the Mediterranean food of all things we had with it and actually quite a nice compliment to it in many ways. Lacked some depth but primary characteristics were strong and carried this wine beyond my expectations.
