Reserve La Burgondie Crémant De Bourgogne Brut Sparkling Blend

For the price ($10 @ trader joes), nice stuff. Apple, citrus, and a hint of yeast.

I really really enjoyed this not too dry with pretty medium sized bubbles. Has it with fancy grilled cheese and then on it own Sunday while winding down for bed.

Apples & underripe pears. Honeydew? Not bad for a few bucks.

Nose: a whiff of hairspray and shampoo, uh-oh. And Apple. Maybe some very mild chalk. That’s about it. Taste: apple juice. That’s about it. The bubbles are bigger than I like. Some slight nuttiness and bitterness with a couple more sips. It’s fine, but you can get better bubbly for your $10.

Mediocre cheap champagne with notes of burnt toast on the nose. Long finish of dark honey and a lack of acidity rates this a massive disappointment.

Delicious! Especially mixed with Creme Chataigne.
