A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Merlot, Ruby red with aromas of berry fruit and citrus zest. On the palate blackberry and cherry with notes of savory spice on a well balanced frame. Fine and firm tannins carry this wine to a medium finish ending with cacao and espresso notes with earthy minerality.

Tannins mellowed over the last year and a half. Fruit restrained; blackberry, cherry. Acidity mild too.

I'm not a big cherry red wine person but this incorporates the cherry notes so well with the richness and sourness that it balances well. Would go well with a steak.
