Touch of brett that adds to complexity. Great value for a classic Bandol.

Iodine, smoke, barnyard, and just plain funky. I feel like I would enjoy this more in 5+ years, but right now it is just too bretty for me.

Dark red violet color with baked black fruit, graphite, licorice, spice and hints of roast meat aromas. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, fresh, and expressive with a supple texture blackberry, black cherry, spice flavors and an appealing minerality. Long finish. 14.5 alcohol. Organic fruit. Mostly mourvedre with a bit of grenache and cinsault. 2012 Vintage

Great value Bandol, just the thing to warm the soul on a chilly evening. Mostly Mourvèdre with Grenache in a supporting role. Dark, dusty and mineral, speaks of sun-soaked stony terroir with dried lavender and herbs. Pair with hearty food and friends.

I last had the 2011 two years ago. Iodine, smoke, and dark red fruits coming through. Plenty of structure and a tannic backbone to help this last. Serving with pan-seared Moulard duck breasts.

Very nice. Fantastic with duck breast and winter vegetables. There's cherries. And acid. AND tannin. It sits in your mouth and breaks down your gums. But the fruits keep it a delicious level.
