Kthma Alpha
Assyrtiko
Last day in Minsk had this for lunch. Completely different #Assyrtiko that I remember from 2012. Fresh, full of yellow-green citrus and elegant lemon grass, hay and mineral stone. You know, I almost was tricked that it is very good Sancerre! #winelover #wine

Aug 14th, 2016Had with souvlaki, briam, tiganopsomo, and a watermelon and feta salad. Fantastic wine. Great acidity and lemon/citrus qualities. Some minerality to it made me think Sauvignon blanc from New Zealand but this was way tastier than that! Hope to find again to purchase.

Apr 30th, 2020Enjoyed the bold acidity of this white wine from northern Greece. Like a toned down Sauvignon Blanc. Think hot summer evening with fish.

Nov 9th, 2019Amyndeon white, PGI Florina Northern Greece. 100% Assyrtiko. Amazing notes of citrus and mineral grapefruit but not too acid and rather smooth with an amazing persistence. Really really good.
