Just amazingly good champagne. Complex, amazing mouthfeel, a little nutty and robust with an amazing finish.

WOW. Fat, exuberant and utterly classy wine. Prominent notes of baked apples and a crisp acidity keep this wine fresh and lively; feels like it has been desperate ever since bottling for its cork to be popped. The nose is an intense cascade of toasted brioche, yeast and a hint of truffle, followed by a palate that engrosses you for minutes. Deep golden in colour, it's a creamy, generous wine. Powerful yet superbly poised. Incredible.

Showing more oxidative notes as well as fruit character ranging from tart to ripe (product of vintage). Marshmallow, almond, quince, ginger, and some phenolics that balance it all. Really nice acidity drives the wine forward. 46% pinot noir, 29% pinot meunier, 25% chard

This was pretty much the consensus champagne of the night, which is saying something considering how ridiculous all of the others were.It got better as the night progressed and the complexity of the bottle appeared as it got warmer. Spectacular in every way.

Big Acid, Tart Fruit, Yet Krug Balances it all flawlessly. Best Champagne house around, in my opinion.
