Great time to drink. Not overdone like some of the KB wines can be at times. This was refined and pretty.

Medium reddish purple in color. Raspberries, black cherry, rose petals, and judicious oak, 32% new French oak for 16 months, are evident on the nose. On the palate, it’s mid-weight with good acidity, fine grained tannins, and 14.4% ABV. The Rosella’s vineyard, named after Gary Franscioni's wife, is a bit more restrained than the other two SLH vineyard bottlings, Gary’s and Pisoni’s vineyards.

A little warm but definitely carries the weight well. Very velvety and chock full of red fruits, barrel spice, the usual KB.

Beautiful single vineyard (Rosella's) from Kosta Browne. Wonderful expression of California Pinot Noir. Bright and clean raspberry with a rocky, slightly peppery finish. 2 hour decant.

Showing off what a KB can do with some time in bottle. Beautifully integrated, still burly, but more seamless and not as eager.

Sipping Fine Wine

For almost 15 years, Kosta Browne has crafted intensely-flavored and balanced wines from the finest regions in California. Ruby with aromas of red fruits with floral herb scents. On the palate fresh strawberry and cherry flavors with sweet licorice and cacao notes. Well balanced with integrated soft tannins, slight tones of cedar on a lingering finish.
