Medium Ruby with aromas of berries, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry and black raspberry with notes of currants, pepper and cinnamon spice and earthy oak notes. Aged for 10 months on French oak, fine grainy tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla oak character. Very nice. Good value!

Start the week off right with an Oregon Pinot Noir. I have opened the 2019 Ken Wright Cellars Willamette Valley Pinot Noir. Sourced from 10 different Willamette Valley Vineyards.
On the nose there is wonderful notes of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, spice, clove, spice, cola, vanilla and forest floor.
On the palate there is cherry, raspberry, strawberry, cranberry, spice, rose petal, cedar and earth.
This is a medium body wine with medium + acidity and medium to medium + fine grain tannins that leads into a long red fruit finsh. The week ahead has just started and we need to be fully engaged and active. As always stay safe and healthy. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Muted fruit. Tart(ish) blackberry? Some light baking spice and oak toast. A little too smooth, not enough structure, especially for something so young.

A bit tight and super fruity day one. 48 hours later, a much lighter, more elegant Pinot. Still needs some time in the bottle, but very nice for the price.
