McCrone Vineyard Pinot Noir

777/115. Light with elegant fruit and nice earth tones. Good acidity and balance.

Artwork shows a public barrel tasting. Ruby with tangy fruit & floral spice aromas. Dark fruit and cranberry flavors on the palate with spices, tobacco and earthy notes. Lingering finish tight tannins that need some time, ending with rustic earthy tones. Nice!

Decent but not Ken's best.

The 15 it is much more approachable now. 14 again will take some time.

This is aging very gracefully. Red and dark fruits, forest floor, toasty oak and crushed rock. Tannins suggest it still has a good few years ahead of it.

So elegant and effortless on the palate. Wild, underripe raspberry, dirt, funk, acidity hums throughout but never sharp or angular. Extraordinarily impressive.

Young.

Wild mushroom nose. Feral, low acidity for pinot noir, cajun brisket finish and lingering spice. Very impressive.

Amazing balance. .
