First of the wines for Christmas at my Uncles house in South Africa. Medium yellow with a golden hue and very light, tiny bubbles. Quite sour and tart on the nose with notes of yellow apples, brioche and a touch of flowers. Medium plus acidity (6.5/10) and light plus body. Very tart and refreshing with Granny Smith apples, honey suckle and quite dry. Long finish. Drink till 2021.

Wow. Big nose of yeast, freshly baked bread, yellow apples, lemon chiffon, and ripe peaches. Dry, crisp, high acidity, with a long finish of green apple, quince, grapefruit, kiwi, and everything that was on the nose. Outstanding value.
