Really good Pinot Bianco (Pinot Blanc). I like Pinot Blanc, but in many instances it’s tiring to drink because its fruit can be a little one-dimensional. Not so with this one. The nose has bright, pure orchard fruit, but leavened by a serious mineral vein. On the palate, it’s full bodied and shows a serious stony side. Bone dry, fairly lengthy finish with a nice whisper of a bitterish note. I really like this.

An excellent #altoadige #pinotbianco - apple/pear orchard fruit, soft spring flowers on the nose. Mouthwatering acidity balanced against a medium-plus body; just a well-made wine that highlights the terroir.

Very shy on the nose right now, fresh & mineral, with some alpine herbs, a hint of pear, a touch of fresh cold butter.
Lovely mouthfeel, with dense texture and great concentration & purity. Mineral, tense, poised yet with some weight & power. Lemony freshness with sweet pears on sourdough bread. The 14% alc impeccably integrated.
I just love this wine!
