Feb 19th, 2020Pop and pour. Notes from 24 hrs open (unrefrigerated on the counter overnight). On the nose: wild strawberry, sweet tobacco, vanilla and spice. On the palate: elegant and lovely acidity with more sweet strawberry and spicy/sweet tobacco. Soft, velvety tannin on the finish. Excellent already, but will certainly improve with age.
