Lots of jammy fruit to give the “wow” factor on the nose. The palate is nice, and has some backbone that leads to an abbreviated - but somewhat luscious finish. Bottom line: this is a big, commercial wine that has some character to it. It’ll definitely please a crowd, and the price (especially when bought by the case) is a good fit.

Dark berry fruit, a bit of spruce (might be imagining that given the day).

Bought at nearby liquor store, decent in a pinch.

Light color, light medium body, a bit sour for my taste, decent finish. Nothing too great, would expect more for the price. Fruit forward dark cherries and berries. Middle of the road acidity and non existent tannins make for a decent RR valley Pinot that can and should be enjoyed young

Medium ruby color; raspberries, cherries, and green herbs on the nose; medium acidity; medium minus tannins; tastes like tart cherries, hibiscus; and wet slate with a long finish. It's pretty good.

It's just a preference thing on my part. I don't like the aftertaste. It's got legs though. I think I wanted something lighter. I bet this would be a great wine under different circumstances. Would probably pair well with a hearty meal or apres ski.

Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherries, roses and vanilla. Toasty, waffle cone, red berries on the palate. Pretty typical RRV Pinot.
