Although still youthful, Drouhin’s 2013 Amoureuses has much to love now. It stuns with its aromatics and mesmerizing perfumed bouquet of high toned red fruit, purple flowers, black tea and top soil. The palate is still needing time to come together and find its seamlessness and generosity, but it shows lovely purity, vibrancy and really exceptional length. Bright future.

Is there a better vintage over the past 30 years or so in Burgundy than these gorgeous '99s???Drouhin, always amongst the finest, most consistent of the top echelon of negociants in Beaune, has produced a classic Chambolle from my favorite site that in a magnum was still very youthful--FORMIDABLE!
