I am definitely an unoaked Chardonnay girl! Found this at the local grocery store by chance. They don’t usually have unoaked so I lucked out. And… it is pairing wonderfully with my first time ever shucked and grilled oysters! Yum 😋

Tried another bottle of this unoaked Chardonnay. Gott’s are a wine family, Joel’s grandfather was winemaker & president of Inglenook in the 1960s & 1970s his father, Cary, was the founder of Montevina and continues to consult for wineries. Simple wine, stone fruit flavors, savory, medium finish, crisp ending with mineral characteristics. Lacks depth.

Nice crisp dry finish. A lot of tropical fruit up front.

excellent - the effervescence of a champagne with full fruit flavors. not a large body but lovely minerality.
