Beaujolais Villages Gamay
Delicious; tart, red fruits; one note but tasty

Apr 2nd, 2017Bright, tart red fruits on the nose along with some dark seductive notes of cherry and stewed prune. A pleasantly balanced and sweet palate dominated by strawberry and raspberry, with a dank wet vegetable-matter funk as a subtle contrast in the mix. Finish is juicy and round, with a subtle tannic grip and pleasant acids. Medium length. Not a bad Beaujolais for 4 freaking euros!

Oct 30th, 2017This is a really nice wine. @Sam Shepard knows that Beaujolais is that bang for your buck fire. At $6.99, this friend punches way above its weight. Would recommend at twice the current price.
