Jean-Philippe Fichet
Meursault Chardonnay
From a restaurant list. Light straw gold. Really nice nose of pit fruit, apricot and stone. Great acidity dominates the mouth and finish.

Jan 2nd, 2017Lemon curd aromas highlighted with grapefruit rind/baked apple accents. Youthful color; no signs of premox; good acidity; and a layered finish that's a bit tannic @ the end. Improves with aeration and probably will do the same after more cellaring.

Dec 7th, 2015Lemon peel, stone fruit, custard, vanilla, cloves. Excellent acidity with silky mouthfeel. Wonderfully integrated oak that does not mask ripe fruit. Elegant.
