Pale yellow. Solid effort from a big Burgundy producer. French oak influence is there, adding spice, along with limestone and a lower level of acidity from the warm 2015 vintage. SommSelect

Medium bodied, bright and structured. Hint of melon accenting the citrus &
Mineral notes. Floral notes on the nose add complexity.

Rich and velvety. Minerality is evident but not overwhelming. 20% new oak. 1950 vines.

Its a round beauty. Good minerality with a touch of butter.

Well made but oxidized. Nutty, almost sherry-like.

Nice golden color, slightly oxidative qualities. Drinking older than its 13 years. Rich mouthfeel without being too weighty. Nice minerality. Good oak, but maybe 20-25% new oak. Served with fresh flame-grilled razor clams in an olive oil, crushed red pepper, sea salt and lemon preparation: near perfect pairing!
