Great! Almost old style aromas.

Deep sous bois. Very red, very Côte de Beaune, but good concentration. A bit rustic, but satisfying

Nice cherry and subtle herbs, hints of minerals. Aroma was juicy and a little cake when tight.

2009: opening up wonderfully now, lots of minerality, chalky, graphite notes, red fruits a plenty. Cherry, strawberry, lightly oaky, leather. Light saline note. Light sweet spice. Light bodied but punching above its weight, acidic, but only lightly grippy, lots of sour cherry, bright and crunchy. A chalky grainy style. Drink up in next 2-3 years.

Just a lovely Burgundy, nothing showy or fancy, but smooth, soft, pretty fruit, intriguing depth, a really drinkable and delicious wine.

A really lovely, pure expression of traditional Burgundy. It's nice to see wines like this at a fair price making a comeback.

Blackberry jam, cassis, soil, earthenware.

Balanced and earthy. A medley of berries. Earthy. Full of memories of other Pinot. Spearmint.

Some oak. Toasty. Maybe slight vanilla or tobacco.

Dark fruit, cinnamon, spices. Medium plus body, nice balance with fine tannins, drinks easy and so delicious. 90-91

Fruits noirs, canelle, épices. Corps moyen, Bel équilibre, tannins aux grains fins, se boit tout seul, très bien. 90-91
