Tart black and blue berries on the palate, eucalyptus, licorice, dust, clay, forest floor, tar, full body and concentration. Elevated staining, acidity, and gripping tannin. Iron. Neutral oak. Horsy (Brett), barn yard, and rusty.

2016 vintage. Lighter than expected with a light-medium body. Elegant. Still some grip/punch along with that watch me slowly walk away finish. The pretty side of Cornas vs the blockbuster side. Overlook this wine being bottled in Bordeaux bottles.
