Jean-Charles Boisset (JCB)
JCB No. 21 Brut Burgundy Chardonnay
Loving this. The pinot element breaks thru. Crisp, clean and totally delicious.

A touch sweet on the front and mid palate with candied almonds, cinnamon roasted cashews and honey suckle but the finish fell off pretty quick. Very little yeast, and pretty much zero chalk or limestone to it.

Jul 21st, 2016Excellent bubbly, just doesn't have the cache of the champagne designation. Vibrant and high pitched with lots of apples, biscuits and toast. For $15 a bottle, it's a no-brainer.
