Initial Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Champagne Chardonnay

2013 Disgorgement. Absolutely delicious. Subtle fino sherry tones.

2018 and 2009. 18 fresh and slightly toasted. 2009 highly “oxidized” almost tastes like a fino sherry. Both a treat.

The party begins. Fine bubbles. So refined.

2012 base vintage. Lovely bright lemon and slate. A peachy, fleshy note. Vivid and clear. Kinda dramatic and showy but with real substance and great acidity. Wow.

2008 Vintage base. Ripe and full. Orange peel and lemon oil. A really quite exotic nose. Clarity and definition. Sizzling, bright acidity. Quite something.

2002 base. Light peach and white flowers. Great cut and definition. Slate and chalk. Hard edges. Very good.

Base Year 1996. Musty-ish honeyed nose. Rich floral notes of Jasmine and honeysuckle. Light tea and brioche.sizzling acidity. Odd pairing but dynamic

Classic. Toast. Creamy.

2009 disgorgement looking great

Oxidative style, leaves open space in the barrels. Roasted nuts, baked fruit, sherry notes, brioche, baled apple tart, nice acid. Definitely a wine for food.
