Tried a new batch of this sparkling wine which is a little different. Pale lemon with nice bubble flow and mousse. Aromas of fruit and floral notes with some smoky oak. On the palate flavors of Palate tart stone fruits, with bold earthy notes, a bit much, medium(-) finish ending with some biscuit notes. Ok but I would grab a Champagne or Cava. Tasting Sample.

Tried another bottle of this sparkling wine which is a little different. Clear and clean with nice bubbles. Aromas were very flowery combined with smoky oak. Palate showed unripe tart green and stone fruits, with a cellar flavor that was a bit off, maybe too much New Mexico earth into the bottle. My advice, stick to Champagnes or Cavas. Tasting Sample. I

Aromas and flavors of apple, lemon, toast, pear. Medium-bodied and very drinkable.

Paid $15 at total wine for a full bottle. A decent, American sparkling wine. Lighter in color than traditional French champagne and a bit more bubbly with a slightly tingly taste. Would get again, but would rather spend the $25 and get The French sparkling Chardonnay we tried instead.

Was interested due to method and source, but there is a slight almost metallic nose and taste. It looks good.

Lighter yellow golden. Smells nice. Hint of toast with the citrus and peach on the nose. Flavor is lovely tart. Fresh and lighter with lots of balance. Hint of honey without the sweet parts. A nice American ‘champagne’. Very crispy clean.

Excellent second label from Gruet. This is a very well made sparkling wine. Fine in every way.
