Lime, baked lime, tangerine, clay. Medium bodied. Good acidity. Will go with a wide range of foods.

'Wild' Pais (Mission), native yeast fermented.
Not playing the natty wine card too hard here. Clean red fruits and a fine ruby color. Quaffable

Red Sox on the tube and a unique wine. I got this more out of intellectual curiosity than a desire to get a great wine. It’s very quaffable. Fresh as all get-out, nose has lots of crispy cherry-grapey fruit. A nice little musky note complicated things a bit. In the mouth, it’s crisp and fresh, with dry cherryish fruit. Not complex or deep, but should go well with the now-almost-ready chicken cacciatore.

Medium ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of kirsch, cherry lozenges, red raspberry, wet leaves; dry, high acid, medium plus tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus intensity flavors of kirsch, cherry lozenges, ripe raspberry, blackberry, wet leaves, very subtle spices; medium plus finish , tannins come in a bit strong, fresh carbonic maceration flavors, double for Beaujolais

This is a secret item at the shop... It costs less than 20 dollars but I was only allocated a single six pack for the year. I guess it makes sense for old vine pias grapes that grow wild and hang from trees. Pretty cool stuff! It does a good impression of 2015 vintage Cru Beaujolais; not just carbonic fruit notes but a pinch of that natural wine vibe too. Not too light weight but easy to drink. If you can find a bottle, it's a good time.

Tastes like it came straight from some wild vines growing up in some trees...which it did...and is perfect in its own way.

Made from 100% Pais at an elevation of 630 feet from vines that are 120 year old. Grown 100% organic, dry-farmed & wild as you see in one of the pictures. 50% of the grapes are de-stemmed the old fashion way on a Zaranda and it goes through carbonic maceration. M+ tannins, bubble gum, strawberries, cherries, dark cherries, red rose petals & violets. The body starts light in body & style but the tannins are slightly sticky on the long finish. Very easy to drink young. 225 cases imported at a retail price of $20.

Some hipster glou glou on this sunny Saturday. 150 year old un-trellised País vines that grow up into the trees and are hand harvested by ladder. Native yeasts, carbonic, unfiltered. Plenty of young, fruity strawberry banana yoghurt-y character from carbonic maceration and malolactic, fresh slightly underripe raspberries, crushed granite, a bit of dried herbs, and some wild floral character as well. Medium (+) acid, light body, barely any tannin to speak of. Serve at cellar temp. Interesting stuff; like Beaujolais Nouveau on steroids. A great example of the essence of "vin de soif."
