How can my day get any better?
@maisonjosephdrouhin 2011 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru 'Marquis de Laguiche' One of my favorite Burgundian Chards ❤️❤️❤️ Lightly toasted pie crust, lemon meringue, almond husk & citrus peel on the nose with sun dried lemon, baked apple & oyster shell on the palate. Kinda awesome. #burgundydreams #certifiablydelish — 3 months ago
2012 Matteo Correggia's 'Anthos' dry Brachetto, yum! A riper vintage but of such suppleness, lush rose petal & ripe juicy raspberry leaf. Dry, yet lovey. A #perfectpairing to pizza & rosemary flatbread. — 6 months ago
Oh how I adore the color and the TASTE of this wine... Pietradolce Nerello Moscalese, fr Mt Etna, Sicily. Notes of black tar, violet & rose petal across the nose. Don't let this pretty soft see through color foul ya, cuz the mouthfeel is all dried cranberry, bright violet, tomato skin & perfectly sliced beef carpaccio. Yum! A #perfectpairing to the Tomato Braised Duroc Pork Shoulder I enjoyed it with tonite. — 4 months ago
Nothing says spring like @birichinoalex's Malvasia. Floral, light & freshly zested w zippy kiwi, cumquat, peach & nectarine. — 7 months ago
This was one of the first wines early on in my career that taught me the transcendence of wine. Chateau-Grillet, an appellation committed only to the production of Viognier in the most ethereal fashion. We enjoyed this gorgeous 2006 just last night on the island of Saint-Martin. A wine so precisely layered you'll never forget the personality & real depth that Viognier has the ability to display: gorgeous white florals, razor sharp lines of acidity & perfectly ripened guava, honeydew & honeycomb. So happy to have consumed this while in a state of complete relaxation. Experience, after all, reminds us of those moments that brought us to the exact spot that we are today. #grateful — 7 months ago
Thrilled to be serving one of my favorite Loire (Vouvray) producers tonite. Foreau's legendary 'Clos Naudin' Moelleux style Chenin, yesssssss! 2008, Look at that color💛 Notes of honey, candied pineapple & Meyer lemon float off the nose while bright citric pear, sugared lemon rind & glints of clover melt away allllllll your afternoon thoughts. #certifiablydelish — 5 months ago
Evolúció Late Harvest Furmint Dried apricot, ripe peach, mandarin, drippy honey & baked nectarine, yum! — 7 months ago
So glad I saved this to share with the perfect company. 2004 @pineridgewine 'Fortis', signed by former winemaker Stacy Clark, a woman I was very proud to work with for a number of years while with the ASW & PRW Family❤️ Dark lusty cherry, blackberry, licorice & molten chocolate. Balanced & Beautiful. #certifiablydelish — 8 months ago
