Iuli
Rossore Barbera
Monferrato, Piedmont, Italy
Big fan of Iuli barbera. This bottle showed predominantly dark berry fruit and metallic notes in a nice balance. Ever so slightly effervescent.

Fine spices with orange peel, very fresh, notes of honeysuckle. Sharp acidity, herb hints, good length and balance. Alcohol in tune with 13,5. A wine clearly made for drinking, not tasting. Very clean and very good value

Good balance but this bottle wanted 2 more years to fully absorb its oak frame. Should be pretty great Barbera.

Had it March 2009.
26 months barriques second use, barbera from the Monferrato area.
Concentrated purple/ruby red.
Balance among softness, freshness and body. Easy to drink, long, very good.

I wanna try the 12 in a few more years. Still a cherry knock out!
