Super pale strawberry hue, smells perfectly of earth and mushroom, cardamom, touch of fairy dust, and cinnamon jolly rancher. Bergamot-strawberry on palate so charming. Silky and elegant. Beauty!

On the nose: Strong anise, slight leather, hot; however, it's mis-leading as the alcohol disappears on the palate and gives way to a stunningly silky texture. Light bodied with a slight hint of vanilla, back licorice and fresh leather dominating throughout the finish. The Calera clone has a wanton mouthfeel and a celestial body making her a devilish temptress.

Drinking this wine with vineyard owner's family. It's an incredible wine, and a great story. Good job Sterlings!

Very disappointing for the price. Very little complexity. Meh.
