When I opened this I knew nothing about the wine. Like it’s age - from the 2007 vintage. Or the grape - Aglianico. Or the depth. Lots of it.
Pours a brick purple, aromatics bursting. Cocoa, coffee, cedar, cigar smoke.

Apr 2nd, 2017$34.95. WS rated 91. So, this wine is a bit fruit forward for me. But there is a lot of depth. Getting blackberries and apricots fruits. Will let it breath a bit and see how it is then. Well, two hours later. It's still decent but too jammy.
