The first time I had this wine was a 2014, and it blew my mind!. Since that wine the 2015 and 2016 have been less of that experience. Ripeness seems to be a little out of balance. Good potential so will go back to a 14 and see where these go! Anyone else have experience with this rare Sicilian?

Feb 10th, 2022One of the better Etna's I have had outside the usual suspects on the mountain in a while...dense and layered, energetic and perfumed.
