SRB Sonoma County Red Blend

Jammy nose leads to a big rush of red and black bramble fruit in your mouth. Just enough acidity to avoid fruit-bomb territory and some chocolate, molasses bitters on the finish with soft tannins. Nice casual weekend #sonomacounty red blend.

Dark color. Smells alright. Black cherry and woody. F Li abuts are heady and full, full bodied. Dense. Hi hybrid mint. Plenty of oak.

Had 08/31/24 in Truckee with Scott and Leslie Matteoni while they were looking at cabins in TD. Very smooth and balanced, slightly jammy, light tannins.

Yum.

Heavy-ish bottle. Very dark color. Opaque. Aroma is fruity and woodsy. Cherries and artemisia. Soaps. Flavors are nice. Complex and full. Not fruit bombed. Some vanilla and oak stuff, but not overwhelming. Bit of bitterness is nice.

Oddly, this red blend from Sonoma from Costco … was delicious. Rich, fruity, deep fruit … like a fresh cab (?) I’d buy this again.

I’d drink it again.
