Padthaway Syrah

Incredible weight with a velvety tannin mouthfeel. Slam dunk especially at this price point.

Blueberry rhubarb pie scents with hints of purple flowers. Low tannin, savory, an explosive finish. Very well structured and in check. Delicious non over the top Aussie Shiraz.

Time is going to help this.

Dark purple in colour. Medium tannins and acidity. Flavours of raspberries and blueberries. Notes of wet moss.

Doesn't taste much different than a regular shiraz... No tannins

High toned but smooth interest named syrah from Australia

Dark cherry, blueberry and earthy. Beautifully balanced with M tannin.

Lush. Big perfume. Bing cherry. Lavender.

Dark and viscous in the glass. Smells like wood chips, charcoal, berry cobbler, and rubber in the sun. Not in necessarily in that order though. It’s fruit forward and soft around the edges. Certainly in the ‘Shiraz’ style over ‘Syrah’. Easy to drink. Smooth and luscious. It’s a passable Aussie red, but nothing strikes me as wow here.

Nice Aussie Syrah. Good flavor and finish 9/18
