Gryphon Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

This has wonderful taste of berries: blackberry, currant and plum.
What’s enjoyable is it’s drinkability. Low alcohol, low acidity. It is very juicy and velvety with slight hints of herbs and tobacco.

Coonawarra Cuvée Sparkling Shiraz

Really refreshing taste. A great balance of bubbles and taste of Shiraz. Highly recommended. — 13 days ago

Farmer's Leap

The Brave Shiraz

Deep dark and smooth. Could do with some more time in the bottle. But still sensational. — 3 months ago

Basket Pressed Cabernet Blend Red Blend

Rich and flavoursome balanced and smooth. It just doesn’t get any better. I love the Highbank Cabernet young and old. If you can keep your hands off them early in their life. You are rewarded with the age. — a day ago

Aged Riesling 2012

Aged Riesling indeed. Soft buttery finish. Well balanced. 2012 vintage. — 9 days ago

Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Not a great concentration of flavors here, but distant hints of all kinds of things... Red and black fruit, some green veg, and very soft tannins holding it together... This wine doesn't need to star, but I think it would make great and interesting company with simple meat dishes. — 21 days ago

Wynns Coonawarra Estate

Coonawara Cabernet Sauvignon 2003

Crimson with a Tawny rim showing its age. Mellow and resolved - round and soft at 17 years of age. Black Olive tapenade and chocolatey notes. Leading Australian Wine Scribe, James Halliday, describes Wynns Black Label Cabernet as “the most important Cabernet in Australia with a magnificent history “. The first vintage was 1954 and in a few months time when the 2018 is released it will be the 63rd. Amazing QPR - the current 2017 can be purchased for $31.90 AUD. The wine is matured in new (never more than 20%) and old French and American oak for between 12 and 18 months depending on vintage. — 21 days ago

Show Reserve Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 1995

Last bottle of one of my all time favorites. Probably past it’s peak but still showing lovely sweet Coonawarra dusty tannins. A hint of raisins but still a beautiful drink. — 7 days ago

Dai Gum San Shiraz 2018

Palate is full-bodied, rich with flavours to match the aromas of the wine
Structured, smooth and persistent fruit characters with black cherry plum berry sauce all black fruit on note, reflects on its deep magenta purple red on visuals
Aroma of dark fruits with hints of spice from french oak, perfume and cologne
Again, palate is full-bodied and rich with flavours, soft yet easy, with its full rich sweetness of fruit, nicely balance, finish with soft hint of chocolate structured, black dark fruit
