Mid to deep ruby red. 65% Cabernet 35% Merlot so the minty Cab influence from Coonawarra not as noticeable as usual. A detuned Cedary nose with red and black fruits. On the palate smooth and supple - seamless with largely resolved tannins. My last one of 6, but if I had more they would last another 5 years +. A very good wine made by Brian Croser.

Nov 22nd, 2018Initially a subdued nose with a whiff of coconut oak. This was very good 8 years ago. Still has cassis aromas but the fruit does not seem as pronounced. Medium intensity palate and length. On release the pundits said a 20 year wine. A good wine but I think it is fully developed and best drinking now till 2020.

May 11th, 2017A wow wine when first tasted 5 years ago when the delicious cassis, black currant fruit was more prominent. More savoury dusty leathery notes now 11 years down the track. A very harmonious balanced Cabernet (65%) Merlot (35%) blend from an excellent vintage in Coonawarra. Will cellar for another 5 to 10 years.
