Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons Chardonnay

Soft and distinctly Chablis. Spiced pear and vanilla bean. First wine I’ve had from this producer.

Clean medium intensity with aromas of apples pears and yeastyness. Dry smooth with a medium body. With flavors of apple pears peach lychee and biscuits with a long finish. Well balanced wine with good finish and decent complexity, good wine.

Fresh apples & citrus with a strong mineral component. Crisp acidity lifts the wine & the complete package is hard to resist. The aromatics are the star here. Similar fruity notes with an assortment of herbal nuance keeps bringing you back. Excellent.

Underripe pineapple, ripe yellow apple, long finish, but drinking this early, should show better in a few years

Such a perfect example of what Chablis has to offer. Gorgeous golden color which perfectly reflected the fall foliage in the mountain setting I was drinking it on. Stoney and rounded. Pure apple and pear fruits with a hint of lemon.
