Secondary market purchase, was a little worried because the cork looked so good for 35 years. But had a big sediment stain on the side of the bottle so stored properly. Decant 1 hour drinking over 3 hours and it continues to improve.

Dec 11th, 2025Better than the 05, but still not quite up there with the 2010 which really exhibited the traditional Eucalyptus. But considering all were auction bottles who really knows. But this was a great steak wine, drank over 6 hours.

Decanted for 2 hours. One of the best smelling wines I tried, floral with old world Bordeaux impressions. Intense flavor, high acidity, tannins are there but not intrusive. Long finish. Medium body.

Had no idea! Deep rich color and taste. Opens up and boom you get the fruit. Smooth as silk a true find!
