Surprisingly well integrated for a 13. Dry, powdery, firm tannins, dark currants, blackberries, black raspberries, dark plum, olallieberries, skin, coffee, dry, tuff leather, showing strong woodiness, dry crushed rocks, anise, red & dark florals. Hold another 7-10 plus years.

The owners son drew the label when he was 18 months old.

This was a delicious cab. Very refined tannins. Boysenberry. Chocolate. Bing cherry.

Not sure I can say it any different than @Paul T or @Shay Aldriedge. Classic Napa Cab.

I love Hall. Haven't had any of their wines that I didn't think were absolutely delicious. I will say, however, that this is the least approachable of their '13s that I've had. Big and bold. Plum, herbs and candle wax on the nose. Coats the mouth in purple. Cigar box and espresso on the after finish. 98-99 from RP. Try in 5-7 at minimum.

3-hour decant. Aromas of espresso beans, violets and graphite. Blackberry and black cherry on the palate. Nice balance between fruit, acidity and tannin.

A bit tannic, with alcoholic heat on finish. Fruit is there, but seems off balance. May integrate better in a few years. 99 pts RP - not seeing it. Hold.

A Cabernet for Cab lovers. First impression on the nose was jammy cassis, but then blended nicely to include a smokey toasted cedar quality. Palate was everything you want in a Cabernet. Great tannin character, firm full body, rich black currant and blackberry, tobacco notes, and a lingering finish that taunts you to take another sip. Another beauty from Hall's spectacular lineup.

I love the Hall lineup. Jack's is delicious but there are other Halls as good as or better for 1/3 less, but worth the price for a try now and the future.

Enjoyed this bottle Cumby at Le Poodle in the OG. Jack’s Masterpiece, which i understand is a blend from their finest vineyards. Deep purple color and bang-up start opening into blackberry and ripe rich July cherry and crème de cassis. The acidity, tannin is fantastic. The wine is luxurious and full-bodied-- a true Cabernet Sauvignon! Wonderful. A steal under $100.
