3-hour decant. Aromas of espresso beans, violets and graphite. Blackberry and black cherry on the palate. Nice balance between fruit, acidity and tannin.

I love Hall. Haven't had any of their wines that I didn't think were absolutely delicious. I will say, however, that this is the least approachable of their '13s that I've had. Big and bold. Plum, herbs and candle wax on the nose. Coats the mouth in purple. Cigar box and espresso on the after finish. 98-99 from RP. Try in 5-7 at minimum.
