Südtiroler Vernatsch
Light and fruity, minimal tannins. Reminds me of Village Beaujolais. Super cherry, very slight carbonation - MLF in bottle? - strawberries, wet hay. Kinda simple, but enjoyable.

Jan 17th, 2014From F+W - a unique red wine from the Dolomite Mountain range in Northern Italy.
Big front that finishes light, overall thin bodied. Has a flavor similar to Beaujolais wine but very clean. Great with Moroccan food or something spicy. Light cherry and strawberry.

Sep 18th, 2021Crisp & very light with faint cherry & Mirabelle plum with a whiff of strawberry candy and a herby edge. On the palate this is feather light, drawn finely around the juicy acidity with very fine, light tannins. This filigrane structure is filled with a glimmer of fruit and a mellow aftertaste (coming fro carbonic mac?).
Not the best Vernatsch out there, misses a bit precision and length, but sipping very nicely.
